If you’ve got an online business, you’ll know how powerful it is when you visit a site and you get drawn in by the personalisation and empathy created by somebody talking to you or seeing a powerful, engaging video.
At the end of the day, people would rather watch or listen than merely read!
Many people ask me to look at their site and suggest a killer marketing script for a video or audio promo for their website. Although I'm a very experienced commercial writer as well as a voiceover and producer, at the end of the day, YOU know your business better than me, so it's best if you write the initial script. Think how would you sell it to someone you've just met. Be passionate! Sell the “sizzle” as well as the sausage; in other words the benefits as well as the features. Once I've sent your audio file, you'd maybe like to add music in Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Audition, etc. You can embed the audio file on your home page so it plays automatically like it has on this page, or have it so it plays when clicked; this is the best option if there are a range of files you'd like your visitor to click on... it's up to you.
You could in Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere Pro etc., add pictures, say graphics you've done in Photoshop or moving screengrabs using Camtasia.
Then as well as embedding this video in your website, you could easily upload to YouTube with backlinks to your site and generate loads of traffic through this method as well.
