THE MALEVO PERSPECTIVEEditorial policy

Our editorial approach.

Clear reasoning, stated limits and an honest distinction between research and experience.

Start with the buying question

Coverage should explain who a piece or approach may suit, its relevant alternatives and its limitations. A recommendation is a contextual judgement, not a promise that one item is best for everyone.

Explain the evidence

Identify the sources for material composition, measurements, care and retailer terms. Distinguish manufacturer statements from independently established facts. When direct use informs an assessment, describe the item, scope and conditions. Do not present desk research as hands-on testing.

Treat price in context

Prices and availability change. A saving should have a stated comparison basis and observation date. Consider delivery, returns and likely use as well as the headline price. We do not guarantee a future price or availability.

Imagery and editorial identities

AI-generated editorial illustrations do not establish product performance or show a tested item. We identify this use in the site disclosure. Our named editorial personae are fictional organisational voices; their generated portraits are not real contributors’ photographs.

Commercial independence and corrections

Affiliate relationships must be disclosed. Commercial enquiries are considered separately from the reasons given for an editorial conclusion. If a factual detail is wrong, email the page URL, the disputed statement and a supporting source to [email protected]. We assess corrections on their evidence and update material errors.
